A 13-year-old boy critically injured in a shooting on Tuesday in Wilmington has died from his injuries, Wilmington police announced on Friday afternoon.
Police identified the boy as Jeremiah Redding.
Officers were called to the 100 block of Ashton Street shortly after 5 p.m. where they found Jeremiah shot. He was taken to the hospital where he died on Thursday.
Police say the incident remains under investigation and further details will be released when possible.
