2 injured in apparent head-on crash in Pike Creek on Monday

Two people were injured Monday night in an apparent head-on crash at Limestone and Paper Mill roads in Pike Creek, New Castle County paramedics said.


First responders were called to the scene at about 8 p.m. There, emergency personnel found a 20-year-old woman and a 23-year-old man injured.


The woman injured her knee in the wreck and was treated before being taken to Christiana Hospital. The man injured his head and was also taken to the hospital. Both were stable when they were taken.


Delaware State Police troopers are investigating the crash. Troopers have not yet released information about what happened.
