A 42-year-old man was hospitalized after being shot in his Greenwood home Saturday night, according to Delaware State Police.
Police are searching for Edward Palmer, a 19-year-old from Felton, who they say is the ex-boyfriend of the man's daughter and shot the man from outside his home. Troopers have an active warrant for several charges including felony assault.
The shooting occurred at 8:36 p.m. in the 10000 block of Memory Road, police said. Palmer came to the house looking for his ex-girlfriend, police said, and threatened to shoot her dog and assault her father. Only the father was home, police said.
Palmer shot three rounds into the home, police said. The 42-year-old man suffered two non-life-threatening gunshot wounds on his upper extremities after being hit in his bedroom, police said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.
