As companies are forced to lay off employees because of the coronavirus outbreak, some employers are still making new hires.
The First State could lose more than 16,000 jobs by summer, according to estimates by the Economic Policy Institute.
Here's a list of some companies in Delaware adding new jobs:
ACME/Safeway
Albertsons Companies, which owns Acme and Safeway, said they're hiring at their stores.

Amazon
Amazon plans on hiring 100,000 full and part-time positions nationally at fulfillment centers and in its delivery network to help with people who rely on its service.
Delaware should expect to see 150 new jobs. The Philadelphia metro region also should see 150 jobs plus another 100 jobs in Cecil County.

Arby’s
The fast food restaurant on Pulaski Highway in Glasgow is having a job fair on Mar 25 from Noon to 5 p.m. Arby's says they have full and part-time positions for crew and management.
The restaurant has measures in place to if more than 10 people are there at one time to abide by social distancing rules.
Domino's Pizza
Domino's is looking for delivery experts, pizza makers, customer service representatives, managers and assistant managers. Domino's U.S supply chain centers are also hiring Class A CDL drivers.

Dot Foods

The East Coast supermarket is hiring associates. ShopRite has
