Four teens and a 10-year-old boy were shot in Wilmington's East Side neighborhood Saturday night, according to Wilmington Police.
The shooting occurred at 10:36 p.m. in the 600 block of North Pine Street, police said. There, police found five gunshot victims: two 15-year-old boys, a 14-year-old girl, a 13-year-old girl and the 10-year-old boy.
All five were taken to the hospital and are in "stable condition," police said.
Police were seen investigating on the basketball courts at East 6th Street and North Pine Street and in the adjacent parking lot. There is also a playground on the block between North Pine Street and North Spruce Street.

So far this year in Wilmington 83 people have been shot, 11 of which died, according to a Delaware Online/The News Journal database. 2020 is on pace to be the most violent year in the city since 2017, when a total of 197 people were shot, 32 of them fatally.
