A 31-year-old man is recovering after being shot Thursday afternoon in Wilmington's Riverside section, police said.
Police responded to the area of 2800 N. Claymont St. after 1:30 p.m. Thursday after a report of shots being fired. They did not locate a victim then. Later, police said the man arrived at a local hospital with at least one gunshot wound. They determined he was shot in the afternoon incident.
No other information was immediately available.
The man was one of two reported gunshot victims in the city Thursday. Later, before 6 p.m., a 13-year-old boy was shot in Wilmington's 9th Ward section.
