Police ID Wilmington motorcycle driver killed after being ejected over 50'-high elevated I-95 entry

Authorities identified the operator of a motorcycle who died after being thrown five stories down an elevated roadway as 27-year-old David Zechman of Wilmington. 

According to Delaware State Police, Zechman was operating a Yamaha R6 from MLK Jr. Boulevard onto an I-95 entry ramp when he lost control in a sharp curve and was thrown over a concrete barrier and onto a surface parking lot roughly 50 feet below. 

The crash occurred around 11:20 a.m. on Monday, May 4, 2020.
