Two adults in critical condition after Camden house fire

Two adults were critically injured in a house fire in Camden on Saturday night. 

The fire was reported just before 8:30 p.m. in the 7800 block of Westville Road. Smoke was pouring from the three-story home when the Camden-Wyoming Fire Company arrived on the scene. 

Two occupants, a 57-year-old man and 71-year-old woman, were taken to the Kent General Hospital for smoke inhalation. They were admitted in critical condition. 

State fire investigators are still searching for the cause of the fire. Heavy fire damage is estimated at $50,000.
