Two minors were shot Saturday night in the Buena Vista Park community near New Castle.
New Castle County police responded to the shooting at about 7 p.m.
Both minors were shot in the lower torso and were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police have not released their ages in order to ensure their anonymity, Officer First Class Grigori Lopez-Garcia said.
Since Christmas Eve, eight people have been shot in Delaware, two of which were fatal. On Christmas Day, 51-year-old Robin McNeil was killed in Wilmington. On Saturday night, a 67-year-old man was gunned down in Wilmington's Riverside neighborhood.
