Urban Air Adventure Park, an indoor entertainment center featuring a trampoline park, indoor coaster and obstacle courses, is scheduled to open its first Delaware location on Saturday.

The entertainment center is in the rear section of the Christiana Town Center off Route 273 near Buy Buy Baby and Club Champion.

It was originally slated to open in February, but after construction delays and the onset of the pandemic, the company decided to push back the opening date, spokesperson Ally Potter wrote in a statement.

Although rooms filled with trampolines are one of the main attractions, Urban Air bills itself as more than a typical trampoline park. The facility features more than a dozen attractions from dodgeball to a ropes course.

Regular daily admission will cost $29.99. Urban Air is offering discounts during its first week open.

Urban Air is conducting temperature checks for guests and employees and has increased its cleaning efforts, Potter said. Masks are required and social distancing markers are in place throughout the center.

Event venues in Delaware are currently limited to 30% capacity under Gov. John Carney's emergency order.

The Christiana Town Center, which is anchored by Boscov's, Old Navy and Staples, was built in 2001 and expanded about a decade later. Urban Air is taking all of the remaining space in the expansion, more than 30,000 square feet.

Marketing materials for the shopping center advertise a second expansion, with an additional strip of retail and two pad sites, although there's no public timetable for it to be completed. The advertised expansion would be larger than 100,000 square feet.

Urban Air will compete with a number of trampoline parks in New Castle County, including Altitude Trampoline Park on Wilmington's Riverfront, Launch Trampoline Park off Elkton Road near Newark and Sky Zone in Glasgow off Route 896.

The new facility is also close to Main Event, an entertainment center in the Christiana Fashion Center.
